Ben Blaiss

Ben Blaiss holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from North Carolina State University. Ben began his career with Mold Inspection Sciences Texas in 2013 after a project involving a historic home with mold issues due to HVAC system errors piqued his interest and led him to join our team in Austin. He transitioned to the restoration industry in 2021, amassing over a decade of experience in the mold and IAQ industry. He returned to MISTX and joined MIS in 2023 as Chief Operations Officer overseeing the daily operations of both companies. Ben thrives on the investigative and discovery aspects of mold inspections, finding excitement in troubleshooting and providing comprehensive solutions alongside his team. He wishes everyone knew that engaging Mold Inspection Sciences means benefiting from multiple expert perspectives, ensuring thorough and effective property assessments. When he's not working Ben enjoys working in the yard and appreciating the pleasant weather, especially in the spring. He takes immense pride in his family, including his accomplished wife and their two beautiful sons. Ben lives by the motto "Here we go," embracing life's diverse paths with a positive outlook and readiness to tackle any challenges that come his way.
